NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Arthur Smith has 11 more regular-season games and, he hopes, a three- or four- game playoff run standing between him and a new job.
His work as the Titans offensive coordinator so far make him an appealing candidate for open head coaching jobs. So far the Texans and Falcons will be looking, but others are sure to follow including the Jets and probably the Jaguars with other possibilities.

“Things change week to week and you’ve got to have perspective in this business,” Smith said. “The only thing I care about is the job I’m doing and I mean that. I never worried about the worst part of the job and I never worried about another job. I feel so fortunate to be in this spot and I’ve got to prove my worth every day and earn it and I've got to get better as a coach and that’s all I care about, how do I help us win, how do I serve this team and can I do my job better?
