NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A former player with ties to the agency that represents Derrick Henry tweeted that the Titans' running back is heading to the Eagles in a trade and the internet went crazy the Saturday before the draft.

There’s just one problem.

The Titans and Eagles have had zero conversations about a trade for the running back who’s heading into his eighth season, his last under contract with Tennessee. [Unlocked]

PK TV: Your Titans questions with Paul Kuharsky

PK MegaphoneNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- We're a week away from further transformation of the Tennessee Titans.

Hopefully, they will have added a blue-chip player by the end of the first round.

It's hole-punching season, and I've been a big part of that and may have fallen victim to finding issues with prospects more than ever. I've had particular trouble falling in love with players at the team's two biggest positions of need: Offensive line and receiver for the No. 11 pick.

Many came and discussed that and whatever else was on your mind as we draw close to actual Titans news.

You can head to the private Facebook page or head below to rewatch.

What the Titans could expect in a trade back from pick 11: Mike Herndon

What the Titans could expect in a trade back from pick 11: Mike Herndon

By MIKE HERNDON, columnist

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about what a trade-up might look like for the Titans if they decided that they wanted to pull the trigger on a quarterback from this year’s class. That possibility remains as rumors of the Texans looking to either trade out of the second overall pick or even take a defender continue to grow.

However, there is an argument to be made that the Titans should be looking to move down, not up, in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.

Scout's take: Where the Titans will look beside OL, WR in the draft

Scout's take: Where the Titans will look beside OL, WR in the draft

By BLAKE BEDDINGFIELD, special correspondent

The Titans have obvious needs on the offensive line and at wide receiver but there are other players at need positions that can help the team right now.

Mailbag: The lack of a Ryan Tannehill extension, receiver questions, Derick Henry's contract

Ryan Tannehill
   Ryan Tannehill

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- It took two trips to the mailbox to get it all to my desk this week.

But I got it all here and opened it and sorted it and got into some pretty good stuff, I think.

First, we plug the podcast, in which I defend Ryan Tannehill, complain about Will Levis and consider Jeffery Simmons' mindset.

And away we go.

Podcast: Defending Titans QB Ryan Tannehill

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Ryan Tannehill is not an elite quarterback, which means he has deficiencies. But his demonization by many Titans fans has been too extreme.

The Paul Kuharsky PodcastSo I lead this week's podcast with a rundown of some stuff from his 12 games last year that was actually encouraging considering the line he worked behind, the targets he threw to and the coordinator who called his plays.

The Titans will hardly be doomed because Tannehill is their QB if he's their QB, at least until the playoffs if they make the playoffs.

The new episode of The Paul Kuharsky Podcast awaits you on Apple, SpotifyGoogle PodcastsTuneIn and YouTube, which is below.

Whichever platform you prefer, please subscribe, rate, review, share, put on a billboard and do with whatever else you are able.

Subjects I dive into:

💥 The reasons we're over-discounting Tannehill and the prospects for a bounce-back.
💥 Why Will Levis is a risky prospect and the scary comps analysts are placing on him.
💥 Jeffery Simmons' mindset after his new deal.
