NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- In the past, the Titans playing to the level of their competition has been a legitimate concern. I feel less like that's going to be the case with Mike Vrabel's teams. As the Titans head to Buffalo we will get a big indicator, as the Bills are not very good.

As we get ready for kickoff, I also spent time on the idea that these Titans are in some ways parallel to the 1999 team as well as considering Dennis Kelly's health, the degree of Mike Vrabel's concern with offensive balance, Terry Robiskie's new job, the contribution of Marcus Mariota in the run game and an interesting Mariota career stat.
