NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jack Conklin is in an unusual situation.
A year removed from not having his fifth-year option picked up by the Titans, he’s in line for unrestricted free agency and a longer deal with way more money when he signs.
“Definitely from that situation yeah; I took a chance on myself,” Conklin said, not that he had a choice in the matter. “It’s paid off here and hopefully everything works out the way I hope it does. Definitely, in a perfect world, I would love to be here and working with this team.”
