NASHVILLE, Tenn. – My initial thought about Preseason Game Two was the Titans’ backup level players showed a sense of urgency. They played for roster spots and open starting opportunities.

Second-year inside linebacker Cedric Gray took advantage of his starting opportunity. He was productive in the run and pass game. His stat line included an interception wiped away by a penalty and a half of a sack. He looked motivated and played that way. We'll get back to those guys.

Cam Ward’s final game stats were not impressive, but he played much better than the stat line.

He had nine pass plays.

-First pass was complete to Elic Ayomanor on a deep cross. Ward rolled to his right and hit Ayomanor in stride for a 35-yard gain with good yards after the catch.
