NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans needed a game like this.

The Panthers are the worst team in the league without a true playmaker on either side of the ball.

The encouraging part for the Titans was they found success in the run game and their passing attack when they needed it.

On defense, they were excellent in their run defense and also harassing rookie QB Bryce Young all four quarters.

The usage of Derrick Henry (18 carries for 76 yards and two TDs) was what was needed to take pressure off the offensive line and Will Levis. He forced the Panthers to bring a safety around the box to help in the run game.
