In one of their most anticipated matchups of the 2025 season, the Tennessee Titans continued their campaign of embarrassing losses in their game against the former Titans head coach Mike Vrabel-led New England Patriots. After a 31-13 crushing loss in their first game without recently fired head coach Brian Callahan, Tennessee’s players suffered their third post-game verbal attack from an opponent.

Starting in Tennessee’s Week Three routing at the hands of Indianapolis, Colts’ receiver Michael Pittman Jr. said, “They kind of looked a little sluggish, they were kind of walking around, nobody was really bouncing. Right then and there we all sat there and were like ‘They don’t want to play today.”

In addition to these comments, per a report via The Athletic’s Mike Silver, an anonymous Raiders coach said, "That might be the worst team I've seen in the last 25 years. They don't have any difference-makers other than (defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons), and the whole thing was a total mess."

As if these previous two incidents, a 1-6 record, and a blowout loss to a head coach that the organization fired less than three years ago weren’t enough, Patriots’ receiver Kayshon Boutte piled on from the post-game microphone. Boutte, when asked about his 39-yard touchdown reception, answered “…We took advantage of lazy cornerback play, lazy safety play, and (it was) just a big play.”
