Despite the Tennessee Titans' 37-24 loss in San Francisco, sending them barreling further towards a top-three draft pick, a unit that has disappointed most of the season seems to be pulling off a late-season resurgence.  

Following over three months of volatile play, Tennessee’s offensive line has stabilized over the past two weeks. Even in a convincing loss where plenty of the Titans’ dysfunctions were on full display, for once, the offensive line unit was not one of them.

After stacking back-to-back solid weeks as a unit, the offensive line looks to be settling into a playable level. If they can continue this trend through the end of the season, they can provide Cam Ward some much-needed breathing room to finish his rookie season on a high note.

Offensive tackles

Through 15 weeks, Tennessee’s offensive tackle duo of JC Latham and Dan Moore Jr. has been a primary source of instability on the offensive line. While Moore has been generally what was expected of him (barely a league-average left tackle), Latham has yet to take his expected year-two leap.
