NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Through the waiver claim process, the Titans were able to upgrade the backend of their roster.

Here are my scouting reports on the four waiver adds and their one free-agent signing.

DL--Shy Tuttle---Will be turning 30 yrs old this season---Undrafted player out of University of Tennessee---6023 290

Tuttle can align at the three technique, and can also rush from the shade/NT position. He’s a natural leverage player with lack of height, average length in arms. He wins with instincts, good feel and key and diagnose skills. He’s got good feet, does a good job of staying off blocks, creating separation with his movement skills and his ability to see the play, flatten down the line of scrimmage and get to the ball. He has penetration rush skills; he’s not a consistent finisher but will flash in the backfield.
