Inside three big Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee debates

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023 was notable for the selection committee’s conversations and debates about five candidates who did not get in.

This was the ninth time I had the honor of casting ballots during what amounted to an all-day meeting, which has been held on Zoom since the pandemic.
