The NFL Scouting Combine is not only a place for upcoming draft prospects to showcase their athletic testing to potential draft suitors, it also serves as a league-wide meeting for general managers to explore potential trade deals. At this year’s combine, the Tennessee Titans’ front office got straight to work.
On Thursday morning of Combine week (even before athletic testing officially started), the Titans struck a deal with new head coach Robert Saleh’s former team. The New York Jets traded edge rusher Jermaine Johnson II to Tennessee for nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat.
