BUFFALO -- The Titans are turning to Mason Rudolph at quarterback Sunday in Buffalo, multiple sources say.

The backup will step in for Will Levis, who was limited at practice Wednesday and Friday due to a shoulder injury he initially suffered on Sept. 30 in Miami. He didn't finish that game, and Rudolph led the Titans to their lone win in relief though he did very little in a run-centered offensive game, hitting nine of 17 passes for 85 yards.

Levis returned for the Titans' loss to the Colts last week. He threw for only 95 yards, and he said his shoulder was a factor in a deep throw late that was intercepted, though Brian Callahan said the team felt he'd shown all he needed to in the practice week and pass pressure factored into the turnover. Levis is likely to be inactive with practice-squad call up Trevor Siemian in line to back up.

The Steelers were 8-4-1 when Rudolph started during his four seasons there. He was their guy for the final three games last season, completing 74.3 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Originally he was a third-round pick by Pittsburgh out of Oklahoma State in 2018.
