NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Early in Titans’ practice, the organization’s chief of staff for football operations pulls on football gloves and joins equipment men playing receiver for the quarterbacks.

Bryce Wasserman clearly looks to help wherever he can and loves to be involved. At minicamp, the former professional lacrosse player worked the sideline well for Cam Ward, Will Levis and others.

“He’s impressive as heck, I don’t know if a lot of people know that he was a pro athlete,” Will Levis said. “He’s got that competitive fire and he’s just got the perfect energy to be out there with us. He’s got that great smile on his face 24/7, and he really gets down on himself when he drops a ball. It doesn’t happen very often, but we make sure we let him know when he does.”

The practice work is an unusual role for someone of his professional stature.
