NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Cam Ward’s minicamp scorecard: A very efficient first day, a less effective second day with the focus on third down and the defense rising and a third day with some poor decision making in the red zone.

The full-team summer work doesn’t mean a lot in big context, and Ward’s quick release, ability to fit balls into a lot of tight windows and overall poise and calm were in full evidence.

As was another big theme: Balls thrown in the middle of the field by the rookie.

Rare over the three days was anything that sent a pass target sharply toward the sideline or streaking up it. Ward worked the middle of the field very well at Miami, and the Titans have picked up on that and run with it.
