NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- On December 20th Josh Dobbs was a member of the Detroit Lions practice squad, preparing to help his team get ready for a big road matchup against the Panthers. Two weeks later, he’s the Tennessee Titans starting quarterback for a win-and-in matchup in Jacksonville that will decide the AFC South.

Dobbs got the first start of his six-year NFL career on Thursday Night Football against the Cowboys, just eight days after arriving in Nashville, leading the offense to 13 points, and throwing his first career touchdown pass in a loss that was ultimately meaningless for Tennessee.
