If you missed the free agency preview for the offensive side of the ball, you can check that out here. Now, we’ll be looking at the defensive side of the ball, including the decisions facing Mike Borgonzi as he tries to tailor the defensive personnel to fit Robert Saleh’s scheme, as well as some specific free-agent options who would make sense.

As we covered at the top of the offensive free agency preview, the free agent negotiation period opens on Monday, March 9th, at 11:00 AM CT, with deals allowed to be officially signed by players and teams beginning on Wednesday, March 11th, at 3:00 PM CT.

The Titans will, as you’ve probably heard several times by now, have the most available cap space in the league at $94.8 million, according to OverTheCap.com and could create more if they want to.

With that, let’s jump into the position-by-position free agency preview as Borgonzi tries to remake this Titans defense on the fly.
