But one key area analytics often looks at from one season to the next is one-score games.

If a team does especially well or especially poorly in that area, the thinking is the following season gravity will pull on the big number.

The Titans were 7-2 in games decided by 7 points or fewer in 2020, so Warren Sharp sees the potential for them to fall victim to regression.
