NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In my Texans preview article, I questioned if the Titans could carry the positivity from a loss against the Vikings and turn it into something more for the remainder of the season.

In this one win versus the rival Texans, I would say the Titans did so, not only carrying that positivity over but adding a layer of expectations for things to come the rest of the season. Sunday the Titans on Sunday were fighters and competitors, playing tough run defense and finding explosive plays on offense in a way that may have saved the jobs of both the head coach and the front office.

The Titans still had a lot of bad in this game: poor special teams, turnovers and watching their quarterback get sacked eight times, But they were able to overcome those negatives and find a win.
