NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The best thing about the last preseason game for a front office is that it is finally over, and hopefully, your team avoided any catastrophic injuries. Your focus can turn toward the roster cut down, and acquiring players from outside.

The ultimate goal of training camp is to condition your team and roster for the regular season. The roster always looks good on paper when you start training camp, but ultimately will need some tweaking and polishing before the team’s 53-man roster is finalized.

The Titans in 2024 had a much better 90-man roster than in previous years. The talent level was deeper, and there will be some tough decisions in the coming days. In the past six or seven seasons the rosters were not as strong, and the final roster was much easier to whittle down.
