NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- When the NFL personnel department watches preseason game film it focuses on players that have a chance to make the roster. Not all 90 players.

Yes, each of the 90 players is graded and evaluated but the focus is really on the five to 10 players that have a chance at the 53-man roster.

Going into each training camp roughly 40 players have a spot on the roster.

The key is to find the other 13.

At this point in the preseason, the coaching staff has defined how many players at each position they are looking for.
