"There is a reason why those guys haven't made a playoff game in four years and it's ridiculous," Lewan said. [Unlocked]

The NFL told Lewan he engaged on behavior it considered unsportsmanlike including the use of profanity in his exchange with the crew. He is expected to appeal.

Lewan vented after the game about Jerome Boger and his crew and said he was fully conscious that his interactions with the officials and his postgame comments would lead to a hefty fine.
