NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans will return to London in 2023, this time as a host of a regular season game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In the NFL’s third 17-game season, Tennessee is slated for nine home games. One will be exported.
It won’t be the Jaguars, as they play a home game in London annually. The Seahawks played in Germany in 2022 and the Falcons were in London in 2021.
The Titans were the road team in a loss to the Chargers at Wembley Stadium in 2018.
By my thinking that leaves the Colts, the Ravens, the Bengals the Texans and the Panthers.
This chart shows the last time each team on the Titans' home schedule played overseas.
Indianapolis, Baltimore and Houston are big rivals, with the Ravens being the biggest. And the Titans have a significant recent history with the Bengals, who have the most star power among those four teams.
The Titans will want those games in Nashville if possible.
I think the Titans and their season ticket-holders would be most willing to send their game against the Panthers overseas, with the Texans ranking second.
