Each week, 440 Sports’ Braden Gall dives into the most important matchups and developments from the top prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Titans have needs everywhere. They have acute, immediate needs at edge rusher, cornerback and wide receiver. They have longer-term but still pressing needs at linebacker, interior offensive line and running back.

Barring a complete collapse, the Titans won’t be in the market for a QB next year. However, a dearth of talent at the top of the draft at the position adds immediate value to the Titans' likely top 10 pick.

So indirectly, it does matter to Tennessee that the 2026 season might be the deepest QB class in the history of college football. As many as seven quarterbacks are currently projected first-round picks and that doesn’t include Miami’s Carson Beck (second round) or Oklahoma’s John Mateer (second round).

Plus, it makes for one helluva first weekend of college football. Happy Labor Day.
