NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Player acquisition season is free agency in March and the draft in April. After that, occasionally a contributor of note will be found. But May-to-opening day is not a time to address a primary need as Mike Vrabel suggested after the draft was over on Saturday night.
I said this throughout last season when the Titans were hurt and many fans were imploring them to go out and get better help. There is very little better help to go get at that stage. And it’s not much better now with rosters at 90-around the league.
