Despite suffering yet another loss (moving them to 1-10), the mood surrounding the Titans has been generally positive coming away from Sunday’s game against Seattle. While the moral value of keeping the game close against one of the top contenders in the NFC is helpful, rookie quarterback Cam Ward’s performance is the life vest keeping Titans fans’ hope afloat.

In what’s being heralded by many as the best performance of his young Titans’ career, Ward put up 256 yards and a touchdown with zero turnovers. While this performance may not have had the rate of elite throws that his Week Eight game in Indianapolis did, the down-to-down operation of the offense was distinctly cleaner than the rest of this year has been. Much like the rest of his rookie season thus far, the film tells an even more impressive story than the box score.
