John Franklin-Myers and Jermaine Johnson broke through, Jeffery Simmons created opportunities around him and a productive stunt package gave the Titans’ struggling defensive front signs of life in Baltimore.

After yet another painful, flat loss – this time at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens -- the Tennessee Titans have fallen to 0-4 for the second season in a row. Even in a game in which Tennessee couldn’t outpace a Tyler Huntley-led Ravens team in the second half, there were a few silver linings to glean from Sunday’s game in Baltimore.

Through the first three weeks of the season, among the Titans’ many disappointments, potentially the most drastic was the lack of impact from Tennessee’s supposedly defense-defining front four.

After trading a former top-50 pick in T’Vondre Sweat for edge rusher Jermaine Johnson as well as signing $63 million defensive tackle John Franklin-Myers, their lack of impact through the first month of the season was jarring. However, in Week Four, they both returned to form while helping contribute to an impressive showing from Tennessee's defensive front.
