The Titans' front office alleviated some of the roster talent issues through free agency.   

Most of the signings were backup-level depth players, but the additions of edge Jermaine Johnson through a trade with the Jets, defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, cornerbacks Alontae Taylor and Cor’Dale Flott and slot receiver Wan’Dale Robinson fill needs and improve the overall talent level at their respective positions.  

Titans Draft Targets

What’s left? The Titans need playmakers at receiver and a starting guard and center.  On defense, the front office needs to continue to add edge rushers and a middle linebacker who will compete with last year’s starter, Cody Barton.  

Because of the money spent and the front office investing in so many veterans, much of the heavy lifting is done and the Titans can now focus on selecting the best player available through the draft rather than filling needs.
