NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It’s time for the Titans to turn the page away from the disastrous 2025 season and to dig in for the rebuild of 2026.

After reshaping the front office to a more traditional structure, Mike Borgonzi is leading the front office and personnel department.  My advice to Mike is, don’t drag your feet to make people happy, bring in who you feel can help you make the right decisions and kick out the dead weight in the personnel department.

NFL front offices can’t run on favors and people who aren’t good at their job. Borgonzi has a big task ahead and he needs scouts who give their opinion despite the unpopular nature at times. The Titans roster has very few high-quality players and a big part of that is the past personnel departments all agreed on subpar players.

Jeffrey Simmons stands alone as a high-level performer, with Peter Skoronski and Chimere Dike (returner) as quality starters. There are a few emerging young players like Cedric Gray combined with a solid productive veteran like Tony Pollard.

The Titans tight ends are a quality duo in Gunnar Helm and Chig Okonkwo. They  need more from T’Vondre Sweat, JC Latham and Lloyd Cushenberry as well as QB Cam Ward but each of these players can be quality starters.
