Jeremy Walls oversaw a major restructuring of Arizona's business operations and is reportedly headed to Tennessee as Burke Nihill reorganizes the Titans' business leadership
By PAUL KUHARSKY
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans are set to hire Arizona Cardinals COO Jeremy Walls as their new executive vice president and chief business officer, according to a report from Jared Stillman.
While I'd heard Walls' name connected to the position this week, I am not able to independently confirm the hire.
A Restructuring in Arizona
Walls has been with the Cardinals since August of 2023, and the team's website says he "led a substantial restructuring of the Cardinals business practices to strategically realign and refocus the team's various business departments."

That included hiring over 100 people and reorganizing the business departments.
Sports Business Journal reported in August that he would be stepping down after the 2026 season.
A Discrimination Lawsuit
Former Cardinals executive assistant Kendra Hogue and former assistant coach Don Shumpert have sued the team, owner Michael Bidwill and Walls, alleging racial discrimination and other misconduct. A federal judge ordered the claims to arbitration rather than allowing the lawsuit to proceed in court, per AZfamily.com.
The Titans' New Business Structure
The new Titans post apparently has been in team president and CEO Burke Nihill's vision for some time, but came to light when he announced a business-side restructuring of the organization to team employees last week.
After news of that came out, the team issued a statement:
“As the Titans prepare for the opening of our new stadium and the future of Titans football, we are making changes to how we lead the business side of the organization.
We will hire an Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer to lead our revenue, marketing, and communications teams. As part of these changes, Adam Nuse, Erin Swartz, and Charles Jensen are leaving the organization. We are grateful for everything they have contributed to the Titans and wish them the best in future endeavors."
Nihill has declined my repeated interview requests since then. He is scheduled to deliver a talk at a Rutherford Country Chamber of Commerce event on Nov. 3.
Before Walls joined the Carinals, he spent 10 years with the Dolphins. His final job in Miami was senior vice president, chief revenue officer since. In that capacity, Walls led the team's corporate partnerships, marketing, ticket sales and operations, member services, suites and food/beverage operations, the Cardinals said in their press release announcing his arrival.
