Beddingfield: Titans Were Outmanned Before They Were Outplayed

The Jets' offensive line controlled the game, their young talent produced and their pass rush got home. The Titans showed they still don't have enough answers across the roster.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The idea that Titans and Jets are evenly matched on paper was a big misconception by media and fans alike – and Sunday’s result proved they are far from close talent-wise.

The Jets have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Both tackles were drafted in the first round and played like it. Right guard Joe Tippman was drafted in the second round and is a high-level performer. Free agent pickups center Josh Meyers and left guard Dylan Parham are both solid NFL players. Parham played for Carmen Bricillo with the Raiders.

The Jets have invested in their pass rush with first round edge rushers Will McDonald and 2026 first rounder David Bailey. The duo combined for seven hurries and two sacks.
