NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A camp pause is a good time to check in on your questions so I opened up some mail.

We will talk to Titans' assistants on Monday and get a briefing from NFL officials.

Here's the best you threw at me in the last few days.

David Jackson What would have been the reaction if a Mike Vrabel-connected player suffered a calf injury on the first day of training camp the way Chido did?

Dear Lord. We probably wouldn't know if was a calf injury, but if we found out if would have be the primary topic of conversation for at least 48 hours. There would have been demands to fire his new strength and

conditioning coach who people would have said was no different at all than his old one. We'd have seen Twitter polls on the appropriate methods for Mike Vrabel's punishment.

This is a great example of how clean the clean slate is for a new coach. I'm not suggesting Brian Callahan (and Zac Woodfin) don't deserve it and I understand there was, for a time, a tough trend under Vrabel and Frank Piraino.

But it is absolutely reasonable moment to reflect on how there basically wasn't a peep about such a quick, soft-tissue injury to a player connected to the new head coach from time together in their previous stop as Callahan and Chidobe Awauzie were together with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Alehandro Cantu With the premature Malik Willis excitement, can you see him moving up to number two or would you rather go with the more "experienced" backup?

How much excitement can there really be? He had one high-quality day. One. And that's great. But through three there have been no indications he's any more than the third, and the odds that Mason Rudolph can lose the No. 2 spot he signed for are tiny.

Then, the questions will all be the same. Do Callahan and his offensive people want a third QB? Or are they content with a practice squad QB who's available if needed?

Willis is a bit better, again. But his being a big better always seems to require reminding people what he's a bit better than, and he's a big better than pretty bad.

When I spoke to him after the stadium practice he mentioned it's the third offense for him in three years. And that's certainly unfortunate for him, slows things down. But it's what some guys have to go through.

If he'd been in the same offense for three years, I still suspect the Titans would have two QBs in front of him.

Parker Dobson Do you see the open willingness to discuss injuries more than the Vrabel regime as a positive or negative?

What could be negative about it? In a sentence, Callahan put two weeks of speculation about Awuzie to bed. That's a great thing.

Now when it comes time that he feels there is a competitive advantage at hand, he'll be less forthcoming. But I suspect his definition of that will be narrower than it's been around here in some time.

Trey Stuart What’s the difference in cheering for Henry and cheering for players on your fantasy team?

Do you root for your fantasy guys at the expense of the Titans? The ones on the archrival Ravens or on AFC South rivals?

I think the talent under Callahan will be better than it was under Vrabel in the last three years. It already is. And that certainly gives the team a chance to be better if Callahan and Dennard Wilson are as good as they appear.

But I think if Vrabel had a roster that looked like this the last three years he would have done a lot better than he did.

Greg Stafford How many holdovers from the punt team that tried to get Stonehouse killed??

Well, Craig Aukerman was gone the next day, that was the big one.

Important guys on that side of the play started with Josh Whyle, Amani Hooker and Luke Gifford. All are still around and two of the three are important players who will play prominent roles.

I really think it's beyond time for both, but it won't change anything this year. The Yankees are going nowhere, no matter what happens before Tuesday. Maybe they win a playoff round before they flame out. They could easily miss out entirely.
