Titans' Nicholas Petit-Frere Most Likely Finished for the Season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The shoulder injury Nicholas Petit-Frere suffered in Pittsburgh will require surgery. He is most likely finished for the season.

The second-year tackle was suspended the first four games of the season for a gambling violation and did not retake the right tackle job as the incumbent when he returned as his replacement, Chris Hubbard, was doing pretty good work.

Now the Titans will either turn to Dillon Radunz at left tackle, go back to Dillard or look to sixth-round pick Jaelyn Duncan. That presumes none of them will be needed at right tackle, where Hubbard is recovering from a concussion that kept him out of the Steelers game.

Far less likely is a move of left guard Peter Skoronski to the outside The team has not worked the rookie there and Mike Vrabel has repeatedly said they like him at his current position.

The Titans resume their season on Sunday with a trip to Tampa Bay. The Bucs rank 24th in sacks per play.

Vrabel's team is off today and returns to the facility Tuesday after a mini-bye.
