NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- In last week’s article I broke down my favorite targets on each day of the draft at Tennessee’s biggest positions of need. Today I’m looking at Tennessee’s secondary needs, with a focus on days two and three.
 
POSITIONS OF NEED (QB aside)
 
This is how I would prioritize Tennessee’s positions of need before free agency:
 
Primary Needs
1 - Right Tackle
2 - Edge Rusher
3 - Wide Receiver
 
Tennessee must either land a starting-caliber player in free agency or spend a top-100 pick at these positions.
 
Secondary Needs
4 - Safety
5 - Linebacker
6 - Right Guard

Tennessee needs to fill these holes, but guards, safeties and linebackers are more abundant in free agency, so ideally the Titans wouldn’t prioritize them early in the draft. These positions will be the focus of this article.
 
Tennessee’s current draft picks: 1, 35, 102, 119, 142, 168, 180, 241
 
SAFETY
