NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The competition between two of the worst NFL teams turned out to be a winning performance for the Tennessee Titans behind their most successful offensive game plan of the year.
It minimized Cam Ward’s drop-backs and potential for zero production plays that come with incompletions and instead utilized the run game to take the pressure off of Ward. But most importantly, it created some explosive plays.
A big shout-out to the offensive game plan and scheme for controlling and frustrating the best defensive player in the NFL, Myles Garrett. Not only did the Titans control him, only allowing him one sack, but the offense flourished with a strong run game and short passing attack.
