In yet another excruciating week of Titans football, Tennessee continued their stumble into a 1-8 record. In the 27-20 loss to the Chargers, Tennessee’s offense once again looked lifeless. However, one rookie bright spot added another impressive performance to his resume. 

Fourth-round rookie receiver Chimere Dike has been an unexpected rising star in the Titans’ struggling offense thus far in the 2025 season. Coming out of Florida, Dike’s allure was his elite athleticism, boasting a blazing 4.34-second 40-yard dash.

The primary concern on his scouting profile coming out of the draft was Florida’s use (or rather misuse) of his athleticism in their offense. Due to Florida only asking him to run deep crossers, his ability to run a full NFL route tree was often in question. However, through nine weeks, Dike has shown the ability to be a lead receiver in Tennessee’s offense, a special teams ace and a supplemental gadget player.
