The Titans sit at 1-6 through seven games, have already fired their head coach, and the remaining 10 contests are far more about the development of Cam Ward and other young players than it is about wins and losses.

There is no question that they should be open for business on veteran players who have a market at the trade deadline.

That doesn’t mean that they should be selling useful players for 10 cents on the dollar just to move them, but maximizing draft capital should be a priority for GM Mike Borgonzi. Last year, president of football operations, Chad Brinker, stated a goal to make at least 30 draft picks, with 12 of those coming within the top 100 picks in the draft between 2025 and 2027.
