NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Titans camp hasn’t had a very extroverted personality, which has lent itself to a bit of a debate: Is there sufficient energy and urgency unfolding at their MetroCenter headquarters?

I think plays create energy and there haven’t been enough plays, so that’s one issue. But when there have been plays – like seven interceptions of Cam Ward alone in six practices – the carryover from those has not been what it has been with prior Titans teams.

It’s not about whooping and hollering, which happens for a moment. It’s the carryover. My read is that while things are business-like and efficient as work gets done, there isn’t a lot of spark or edge to them, and that in a healthy camp, there needs to be some tension about what’s about to happen. Look out, here it comes.

I haven’t felt that.
