After the Tennessee Titans lost an explosive rookie quarterback duel to the New Orleans Saints 34-26, Cam Ward’s recent play has deservedly been the topic of conversation. However, one other facet of Tennessee’s offense has also quietly risen from the dead over the past month.

Over the first three quarters of the season, Tony Pollard (and the Titans’ run game as a whole) was lifeless at best. Since Tennessee’s Week 14 game against Cleveland, Pollard has looked completely rejuvenated. Over the past four games, Pollard has rushed for a total 452 yards and three touchdowns. While much of this can be credited to the offensive line unit beginning to gel, Pollard also has looked like an entirely different player.
