NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With a franchise tag on the table as an option for the Titans with Derrick Henry, I fielded a good question in a members-only Periscope/Facebook Live Monday evening:
How have previous running backs hit with the tag fared?
I found five since 2009 who were slapped with the franchise tag and looked at the number in the season that prompted their teams to use the mechanism, and how they did in their tagged year.
