NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Week 15 is a significant game for both the Chargers and the Titans.

The Titans' focus needs to be simple: Find your identity and force that on your opponent.

Start of the third quarter has shown the Titans' offense at its worst

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans have a bad offense, but if you want to see it at its worst, visit the third quarter.

Go even smaller and check out the first drive after halftime.

In 13 games this season, including during the current three-game losing streak, the team’s first drive after halftime has been a three-and-out nine times and one that ended in three plays with an interception.

Those 10 drives have combined for negative-16 yards.

Key Titans alumni reflect on team's current state of affairs

NODHopKearseCJNASHVILLE, Tenn. – Five former Titans and a Hall of Fame member of the Houston Oilers gathered Tuesday for a press conference at Nissan Stadium to push for continued Covid-19 vaccine awareness.

They all shared thoughts on the team’s current state of affairs.

Neil O’Donnell would like to see the Titans go four- and five-wide to take pressure off the offensive line; Chris Johnson and Delanie Walker are still baffled by the A.J. Brown trade; Brad Hopkins wants to see the offensive line get back to winning laterally; Jevon Kearse isn’t seeing the same Jeffery Simmons; and Warren Moon still believes Mike Vrabel can turn things around.

Details from each…

PK TV: The Titans ahead of the dreaded trip to L.A.

PKUnleashedBroadcast2NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- As the Titans, the franchise has never won on the road against the Chargers.

That's seven losses in San Diego including one in the wild-card round of the playoffs, and one in their most recent meeting, a Chargers' home game in London on Oct. 21, 2019. The streak dates back to 2004.

Will things change in the first meeting at Sofi Stadium?

The Titans beat the Rams there last year. But it's not going to be about the building, it's going to be about Tennessee's ability to handle another high-quality QB in Justin Herbert and to solve a lot of the inconsistent factors that have amounted to three losses in a row.

I do not sense your confidence is high.

We gathered to discuss this game and everything else that is on your mind while awaiting Week 15.

Head to the private Facebook page or head below to rewatch or listen to the engaging, riff-raff-free conversation.

Mike Herndon: Is the Titans' next GM taking on a rebuild or a retool?

Mike Herndon: Is the Titans' next GM taking on a rebuild or a retool?

By MIKE HERNDON, columnist

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- In firing Jon Robinson, Amy Adams Strunk made a very clear declaration of intent. The Titans are not satisfied with being the best team in the AFC South, making the playoffs each year, and quickly being bounced from the postseason by the true Super Bowl contenders in the conference. She wants to become the first professional sports owner to bring a championship to the state of Tennessee.

Those ambitions will mean that the next GM of the Tennessee Titans – their fifth since relocating the franchise to Nashville in 1997 – will be under considerable pressure to produce right away.

Adding to that pressure is the fact that the Titans' roster is at a crossroads entering the 2023 offseason. Many of the Titans' top players face contract decisions over the next few months and there is enormous pressure to hit in the draft after disastrous returns from the 2020 and 2021 classes have left a roster starving for young talent.

On the Titans' formula, injury depletion, physicality and defensive focus

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The formula and the desire to stick to the formula has not changed for the Titans.

Their ability to execute the formula and the opposition’s ability to deal with it has changed a great deal.

“We have to understand what we think wins in this league,” Mike Vrabel said recently. “I'm going to remind you that it is taking care of the football. It is running the football. It is being efficient when you pass it. Those are

the three things for the past 25 years in this league that has won. That is what I want our identity to be, because I know that is what wins. When we've won, we've done those things.”

Scout's take: Bad coverage, no separation, disappearing energy undid Titans

Scout's take: Bad coverage, no separation, disappearing energy undid Titans

By BLAKE BEDDINGFIELD, special correspondent

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- If I said a quarterback threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns, a tight end had 11 receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns would most people think that came from a 4-8 team or a team that is leading the division and has a winning record?

Well, it came from a team that just might be the division leaders a year from now when the team that gave up those yards might be looking at a rebuild, with very few young core players to start that process.

The Jaguars only had 60 yards rushing, but a total of 428 yards in a 36-22 win at Nissan Stadium.
