I don’t want to go back to the Rams after losing with them against the Vikings last week. But the Saints should be favored in this game for how well they are playing. I go with the startling spread theory. When it strikes me as wrong, it turns out not just right, but big right.
Vanderbilt +1 at Tennessee
Two teams that just want it over with. Two teams that don’t have much to care about. Vandy has an outshot shot at a bowl with a win that gets it to 5-7 if academics lift a sub-.500 team into the field. The Commodores are playing for the guy who will be coaching them next year, the Vols are not. Bragging rights are a far bigger deal for the guys trying to Anchor Down. It just means more.

Delanie Walker scored his first touchdown of the season. He’s dropped one and had one clear opportunity throw into the ground in front of him. It’s beyond time and the Colts don’t play very good defense on tight ends.
