PK TV: A full venting for you after Eagles 35, Titans 10

Screen Shot 2022 12 04 at 7.49.34 PMPHILADELPHIA -- It's hard to feel very good about the Titans after the last two weeks and with a lot of good reason.

And Sunday's 35-10 trouncing at the hands of the Eagles here at the Linc brought back the bad feelings of April's too-easy give-up in the A.J. Brown trade. He had a big day against his old team with eight catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

The offensive line was also a big problem, and a defense that came in determined to make Jalen Hurts beat them from the pocket got exactly what it asked for.

Come rewatch our weekly post-game discussion to talk through all that unfolded in Philly. People are calling it the best post-game chat of the year.

Scout's take: The dangers of the Eagles for the Titans

Scout's take: The dangers of the Eagles for the Titans

By BLAKE BEDDINGFIELD, special correspondent

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Eagles are a well-rounded team with the best record in the NFL who will give the Titans all they can handle in Philadelphia Sunday.

A.J. Brown

They have playmakers on offense, at pass rusher and at defensive backs that take the ball away on defense.

They have a dual-threat quarterback in Jalen Hurts who has developed as a passer this season with the help of the front office, which acquiring top talent.

Derrick Henry as a defensive end? Recruitment memories still motivate the Titans RB

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As Derick Henry ran wild at Yulee High School in Northeast Florida, taking 1,397 handoffs for 12,124 yards and 153 touchdowns, a good share of college recruiters looked at him and didn’t see a running back.Derrick Henry Yulee HallwayA hallway at Yulee High School in Florida/ © Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union / USA TODAY NETWORK

“There were more college coaches who wanted him as a defensive player than as an offensive player,” said Bobby Ramsey, who coached Henry at Yulee. “Of 10, six would say they were recruiting him as a defensive end, four as a running back. Seven maybe. As his career went on, more people would say he’s not a running back.”

More than 10 years removed from his commitment to Alabama, Henry still raises the issue as a source of motivation.

PK TV: All the Titans questions on your mind before Philly

Screen Shot 2022 11 30 at 7.56.57 PMNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Sunday's game in Philadelphia is about a lot more than A.J. Brown.

But it's OK to start the conversation with Brown, the receiver who maneuvered his way to the Eagles in a draft day trade and left the Titans undermanned at receiver even if they've been better lately.

The Eagles are the NFL's best team and will provide a lot of challenges for Tennessee, which is coming off a home loss to the Bengals.

Mike Herndon: Breaking down what's going on with Derrick Henry and the Titans run game

Mike Herndon: Breaking down what's going on with Derrick Henry and the Titans run game

By MIKE HERNDON, columnist

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Over the course of his incredible NFL career, Derrick Henry has always gained steam as the season wore on. Over the course of his career his stats by month tell a very clear story:

Those splits look very different in 2022. Henry averaged 64 yards per game while averaging 3.56 yards per carry in September with just two total touchdowns. October brought what looked to be a breakout with Henry ripping off four straight 100-plus yard performances, averaging 141 yards per game at a 5.63 yards per carry rate and tacking on a total of five touchdowns.

However, a terrible November saw Henry’s numbers come crashing back to earth. He averaged just 73 yards per game at 3.62 yards per carry and three total touchdowns.

Truth serum and five questions with the Titans' Mike Vrabel

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – I’ve got five questions in Mike Vrabel’s office and a secret doctor has blown a mist of truth serum through the room. All we are getting is candor.

Here is my vision of how the conversation goes. To be clear, this is me imagining a conversation with Vrabel.

1) What do you really think of Todd Downing?

Scout's take: How the Bengals stopped Derrick Henry

Scout's take: How the Bengals stopped Derrick Henry

By BLAKE BEDDINGHFIELD, special correspondent

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans still haven’t beaten a team with a winning record at the time of the game in all of their seven wins. The Commanders have a winning record now, but they were 1-4 when the Titans faced them on Oct. 9.

Both the Titans and Bengals played about equally throughout the game.

Neither team was very sharp, and each had some very important players out with injuries.

Joe Burrow and Ryan Tannehill had stretches of accuracy and in-rhythm throws but also had lapses of inconsistent passes. Wide receivers for both teams made outstanding catches to sustain drives.

PK TV: Rewatch discussion about the Titans' loss to the Bengals

PK112722NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Well, the Titans are 2-2 in their last four after losing Sunday to the Bengals.

They don't control their schedule, but everyone good on it that they've played so far they've lost to, unless you consider the Commanders good, in which case Tennessee's 7-4 record includes a 1-4 mark against quality opponents.

This is concerning, as was the team losing in the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in the 20-16 loss to Cincinnati, the late unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that undid a chance to mount a trying or winning drive and the effect of the absence of Denico Autry and Ben Jones.

Many of you joined me to discuss those issues and whatever else is on your mind.
